The Mayor’s Winter Holiday Party

This holiday event is sponsored by the City of Kansas City, MO - The Mayor’s Office hosted by Parks & Recreation. Parks & Recreation in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps to facilitate the distribution of toys through the “Toys-For-Tots” program. The Westside CAN Center and the Ruiz Branch Library provide volunteers.

Tentatively Scheduled for Saturday, December 8th, 2007

Tentative Times: 11am-2pm

Volunteers Needed:

  • Help in the kitchen setting out coffee, punch and cookies, etc.
  • Help children at the craft table
  • Help distribute Toys-For-Tots packages to pre-registered families (any former Marines available?)
  • We need a bi-lingual Santa Claus (we provide the Santa suit if you don’t have your own)
